Christ The King Church, Towson Mental Wellness Ministry Meeting

Please join us on Saturday, MAY 30th at 11 am in The Stable (parish center) for our CTK Mental Wellness Ministry Meeting. We will continue with The Sanctuary Course video series discussing mental health and the Church’s position on medication.

Bring a brown-bag lunch and we will provide drinks. We will begin with prayer, followed by the video presentation and then lunch where participants are invited to share feedback on the video and/or discuss their experiences involving mental health struggles and experiences. In doing so, we come together as a non-judgmental, loving church community in support and prayer reducing the pain and isolation associated with the stigma of mental health challenges. This group is for those with the lived experience and for all those who love and support them! You are not alone. All are welcome!

“Cast your burdens on the Lord, and he will sustain you; and he will never permit the righteous to be moved.” Psalm 55:22

May is Mental Health Awareness month. May 15 was the feast day of St. Dymphna, patroness of mental illness and nervous disorders. Click on the links below to learn more about St. Dymphna and to join a novena.
